About St Paul’s
St Paul’s is a vibrant Episcopal community, with diversity and talented and intelligent members.
The St Paul’s community embraces its members with strong pastoral care that includes genuine love and abundant grace between members. St Paul’s loves music, whether traditional hymns or original compositions or lay led musical additions. Music is a vital piece of our worship, and our organ is our center piece, a one of a kind instrument. We also enjoy cooking and eating, to feed each other and also to build community and fellowship.
What We Do
St Paul’s is an Episcopal Church in the Massachusetts Diocese, founded in 1849 with a building designed by Richard Upjohn.. We are located in Brookline, a town in the Metro Boston area that is filled with lively urban shopping and dining and award winning schools. Brookline has been called a “cultural hub”, with historic nieghborhoods, outdoor greenspaces and parks designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead, multiple train lines of the MBTA subway, the birth home of John F Kennedy, and miles of road that are on the Boston Marathon route. Brookline is home to people of all ages, of all family compilations, and of all backgrounds and is accessible by public transportation.

We need a rector to guide us spiritually into being our best selves, as Christians and as a Christian community. We need a rector who has a vision for what we can be and challenge us to be that. We need a rector to inspire us to experience and share in the fullness of Christ’s love by using Jesus’ lessons and life as an example. We need a rector who can support our incredibly strong lay leadership and church staff. If you are interested in learning more, please visit our Parish Profile Link below.
