"I'm feeling stressed!" Seems to me we hear that from a lot of people at St. Paul's Church these days. The responsibilities of the rector search, the Capital Appeal, building renovations, and transition planning groups are huge and are likely to get even more complicated over the next 9 months. What can we do to significantly lighten our load?

The only thing I can think of is to combine our 9 and 11 services for this period of transitional time. One service at 10 followed by church school would cut down on the work requirements for the transition planners, clergy, music director, choir and instrumentalists, Altar Guild, healing ministers, chalice bearers, ushers, acolytes, and coffee hour hosts.

Are there other things that we could do to reduce stress? If we could find a little bit of extra time, I suggest we use it for some Mandatory Fun Time. What would be fun? Are there other ways we can lighten our load? I would love to hear your ideas!  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
