Adult Education Series:
St. Paul's - Building a Commonwealth of Blessing

Each year, as we plunge into the joy and busy activity of the fall, we take some time to take stock of where we are as a community, our common work and vision and we consider how we might support that work and vision as part of our Annual Pledge Appeal. This year, we invite you to share with us in "Building a Commonwealth of Blessing", our theme for this year's Appeal.

October 22: Getting more concrete...What are the ways St. Paul's tries to live into being a Commonwealth of Blessing?

October 29: What role does money play?  We will share and discuss our new "narrative budget" that illustrates how work is supported through our financial resources.

November 12: (Ingathering Sunday): We will explore the diverse ways individuals can engage in the work of the St. Paul's community. What is my role? How do I think about offering my "time, talent, and treasure"?

Confirmation Class Launches a Kindness Campaign

Last week during Church School the Confirmation Class invited the children to participate in our Kindness Campaign by playing a BINGO game. Cards were distributed to all the children who were present.  If your child was absent or if they have lost their card, more cards can be found under the Kindness Campaign Bulletin Board outside the Lichtenberger Room. Once a child has gotten BINGO by completing the acts in a row, column or diagonally, they can bring their card to the Lichtenberger Room on a Sunday morning to receive a special "thank you" gift.

There is nothing so rewarding as to make people realize that they are worthwhile in this world.
