Calling all Graphic Designers
As you may know, St. Paul's is launching a Capital Campaign at the end of the year. There are many subteams that are helping out with different portions of the Capital Campaign, and the Communications Team is looking for someone to help us build a brand and logo for the upcoming campaign.

We could hire someone from our consulting firm to do this, but we would prefer to use the wisdom and talents of our own St. Paul's community. If you would be interested in participating in a collaborative design process with the communications team, please email Elisabeth Choi at This email address is being protected from spambots. Field Trip to SSJE Canceled
Last week we announced a field trip to worship at the Society of St. John the Evangelist on August 23, however, the Brothers are not holding their Tuesday evening services of Holy Eucharist during the summer months. We will look for a date in the fall so stayed tuned for that!
We want to celebrate your birthday. Do we have yours?
Between our old, incomplete database and our database transition, we are missing several folks birthdays. We use birthday information to send birthday cards and to include folks in prayers of the people during their birthday week in celebration of your life!

To remedy this, we are asking that you do one of two things:
1. If you have signed up for the online parish directory:
a. please log into onrealm.org/stpaulsec
b. go to "my profile"and "info"
c. edit personal information
d. enter in your birth month, day and year*

*The year is required on the online parish directory because if you are under the age of 18, profiles have particular limitations and privacy settings to protect our youth. If you are uncomfortable entering in your birth year and are over the age of 18, please enter in a birth year that puts you over the age of 18. For incomplete profiles, I've been entering in 1990 as the birth year because in my experience, 1990 was a great year to be born!

e. click "save" at the bottom of the page
-or-
2. Email the date of your birthday to Eliza at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and she will enter it into the system!

If you have any questions or problems, please do not hesitate to email or call (Eliza) at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call at 828-550-5242!
Join us for Yoga on Wednesday Mornings at 7:00 am!
A Yoga practice at St. Paul's is in full swing! For the summer, classes will be at 7:00 am on Wednesday mornings in the Lichtenberger Room.
This class is an opportunity to experience an embodied spiritual practice. Our very own Martha Curtis is an experienced Kripalu trained Hatha yoga teacher and is offering this meditative yoga class for both beginning and more experienced yoga practitioners. Classes are free, and the focus will be on meditation and simple yoga postures. We have extra yoga mats and bolsters, so all you need to bring is your body, mind and spirit! All are invited to drop in for some early morning peacefulness.
If you have questions, please email Martha Curtis at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Hope to see you there!
