Stewardship Update
Dear Community of St. Paul's,
We wanted to write and thank all of you for responding so wonderfully to this year's Stewardship Appeal. If you have not yet sent in your pledge, it is never too late.
Remember, no matter what the amount, every pledge is valuable and important - each one is an outward and visible sign of our connection and commitment to this community. It would be helpful to have everyone's pledges as soon as possible, as the Vestry will be meeting soon to plan next year's budget in anticipation of our annual meeting in January.
If you have questions about Stewardship, or your pledge, please do not hesitate to be in touch with us through the office.  The information about this year's appeal is still online at http://www.stpaulsbrookline.org/ministries/supporting-st-pauls/stewardship.html. Blank pledge forms can be found at the back of the church on Sunday. If you let the office know you need one, we would be happy to drop one in the mail!

Again, many thanks for your faithful stewardship of the community of St. Paul's; may we continue to share our blessings and thereby share in all of the good works that will open to us this year.
2015 Pledge Envelopes
Our 2015 pledge envelopes have arrived. If you ordered them, you may pick them up in the back of the church on Sunday mornings.
Early Announcements Requested
If you have announcements for the electronic email and/or Sunday bulletin for the week of  January 4, please submit them to Jill in the parish office no later than noon on Tuesday, Dec. 30. Many thanks!
Megan Holding's Ordination to the Priesthood: January 10, 2015
God willing and the people consenting, Megan Holding will be ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:30 am at Trinity Church, Boston: www.trinitychurchboston.org. All are welcome at the ordination service and reception that follows. The next day, Megan will celebrate the Eucharist for the first time at our 10:00 am service. Please join us in person or in spirit for these services!
Annual Meeting / Call for Reports
Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 25, 2015, when we will gather to discuss the business of the parish and share our hopes for our next year together. Just a reminder that reports for the Annual Meeting are due in the office on or before Tuesday, January 20 to allow time for compilation of the Annual Report. Please send your reports via email to Jill at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Maintaining our wonderful pipe organ
All of us love our wonderful musical program provided by Andy Clarkson, our Choir, and all the musicians who are part of the St. Paul's family.  Our music relies on one other important thing - our pipe organ. You may not know, however, what a structural and mechanical wonder the organ is. With dozens of pipes, bellows in the basement, and too many keys and knobs to count, the organ is a musical marvel! Such a complicated instrument requires upkeep, and our organ is overdue! The organ is beginning to have some relatively serious maintenance issues that will need to be dealt with soon. Please ask Andy, our musical director, or our Wardens, Arlene and Chris, if you have any questions or would like to know more about this amazing instrument and the care it requires.
Healing Prayer Ministry
It has become a St. Paul's tradition that anyone who wishes may remain after communion and receive a healing prayer. We are in need of people to contribute to this simple, yet powerful tradition by training to be a member of the healing prayer team. If you would be willing to serve in this way, or would like to learn more about St. Paul's healing prayer ministry, please contact Jeff Mello This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or Jean Moses This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or call the office at 617-566-4953. We will arrange a brief training at a time that is convenient for those who would like to attend.
