MAKING SACRED SPACE - MAKING SPACE SACRED  What do you love about the sanctuary space at Paul's? What is sacred about it? How does the space work: visually, aurally, communally? What about the space gets in the way? What message do you think newcomers receive from the space? Join us in the sanctuary this

coming Sunday to reflect together on the place where we worship.

PRISON MINISTRY GROUP  The Prison Ministry Group will be meeting in the Lichtenberger Room THIS coming Sunday after the 10:00 service to discuss a couple exciting projects we have in the works. All are welcome! Contact Leahanne with questions:This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."> This email address is being protected from spambots. After a temporary hiatus, the St. Paul's SUNDAY LUNCH BUNCH returns THIS coming Sunday

The Sunday Lunch Bunch (SLB) consists of a congenial group of folks who like to gather every FOURTH Sunday of the month for a casual meal and good company. Typically, we select some area restaurant and travel together (by foot or carpool) to our chosen destination. Transportation is always available, when needed, and all are welcome. No advance notice is required but if you'd like to join us, please look for the SLB sign-up sheet at coffee hour following this week's 10:00 O'Clock service. By adding your name, you help us provide accurate numbers to the restaurant. To learn more about the SLB, please speak with Ed Jacobson or Maryann Kurkjian, or ask any usher or greeter to direct you.

Antiracism Learning Group

Because we will have our pancake breakfast next Sunday on March 3, our antiracism learning group will not meet. We encourage you to join us on our Lenten Quiet Day to continue our work together on racism. The day will focus on the documentary, Traces of the Trade, with prayer and conversation. Save the date, March 23.

Upcoming Small Group Opportunities

Small groups provide an opportunity for more informal and intimate prayer, for fellowship, support, and deeper learning about our faith tradition. In a small group we can connect more directly and deeply with other Christians, in a way that is not always possible on Sunday mornings.

Walk In Love: Episcopal Beliefs & Practices:

Based on the book of the same name by Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson Shobe, this small group will explore what it means to be a Christian in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition.   Even if you have not been to a previous meeting, you are most welcome to join us! Our next meeting dates are March 12, April 9, and May 14 at 7 pm. Some copies of the book are still available in the parish office. Contact the Rev. Elise Feyerherm for more information: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Please join us!

Invitation to Meditation on the Fruit of the Spirit:

Lenten House Church begins March 8

"Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." These words are so familiar, but what do they mean in our daily lives? In our modern world? This Lent we will meditate and listen, reflect and share in community. Join us for a simple meal and fellowship in parishioners' homes. Lenten house church has been a tradition at St. Paul's for over a decade. Whether your are new to the idea or have been participating for years, we hope you will join for prayer, song, and reflection on Friday evenings: March 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5 and 12.

Sign up HERE to host, bring food, or facilitate our time together.

Lenten Day of Reflection and Prayer:

March 23 @ St. Paul's: 11am - 5pm

Featuring a screening of Traces of the Trade - a film documenting the DeWolf family's journey in facing their own complicity in the slave trade in colonial Rhode Island.

Post-screening conversation led by Dain & Constance Perry, members of the DeWolf family and experienced facilitators of conversations on racism and faith. Agenda to follow.

Pancake Breakfast and Talent Show: March 3

The Stewardship Team invites you to the annual Shrove Sunday celebration--food, fun, music, laughter and community.  Gather together after church for sweet breakfast foods and a diverse  collection of self-defined talents. Kitchen helpers are needed Sunday morning for serving, cooking and clean-up; please contact John Andrews (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you can help out.  And, if you are interested in sharing a talent for the SHOW (acts no longer than 5 minutes), please  contact Maggie Taylor at This email address is being protected from spambots.
