"The Way of Love - Practices for Jesus-centered Life"

December 23 - Rest - the Power of Sabbath

"Especially today, God invites us to dedicate time for restoration and wholeness - within our bodies, minds, and souls, and within our communities and institutions." The Way of Love

As we come to the end of Advent, we focus on Messiah as Emmanuel, God-with-us. The practice of Sabbath is not just about self-care; it is about putting God at the center of our lives. Sabbath means resting in God. Join us at 9:00 am this coming Sunday as we explore practices that lead to restoration and wholeness, not only for ourselves, but for those around us.

Greening the Church: Saturday, December 22

On Saturday December 22 from 9am to noon, we'll be greening the church, making the giant wreath for above the altar, window decorations etc. There will be carols, eggnog and Christmas cookies! Bring a pruning clipper if you have one and join us for a fun morning. No experience or artistic sense needed.
