  • Blessing of the Animals: To remember the Feast of St. Francis, lover of animals, and continue the church's tradition of remembering our relationship to all of God's creation, we will hold our annual Blessing of the Animals this coming Sunday at 11:30am. Please bring your animal companions for a blessing! We'll meet on the front lawn and all are welcome.

Dixon Bain
We are sad to report that long-time parishioner Dixon Bain, passed away on September 4, surrounded by family and friends. A private gathering to celebrate Dixon's life will be held at a later date.  Condolences can be sent to his children, care of Arianna Bain, 15 Hall St., Somerville, MA 02144.

Come to an interactive session with Jeff and the Stewardship Ministry to learn about the state of our finances. Where does the money come from? Where does it go? Help to cast a vision for next year's budget and beyond.

Prison Ministry Group: Next Meeting is October 14

The next meeting of the prison ministry group will be on October 14 at 11:30am in the Lichtenberger Room. We'll be talking about our future plans, including a selection of groups we might get involved with and some potential holiday-related activities. All are welcome!

 Celebrations  We remember and celebrate the birthdays of Cricket Lewis, Esme DiStefano-Forti, Jack Elder, Ali O'Brien, and Brett Marks; we celebrate the baptisms of Mackenzie Grace Kelley and James Junning Xie, and we pray in thanksgiving for the 57th wedding anniversary of Ken and Maureen Carter, who have given the altar flowers this week.  

Memorials  We pray for the repose of the soul of Dixon Bain, who died last month.
