First Sunday in Lent -- At 9:00am, children will gather in their Sunday School rooms for lessons and Butterfly/Cocoon making.  Adult Education will be lead by the Rev. Cathy George and feature Beverly Estes-Smargiassi as our guest speaker.  The topic is Rev. George's book, "You Are Already Praying" and the questions it raises.  If you have ever wondered how to connect your life of faith with the rest of your life, this series is for you! Rev. George will be our guest preacher at the 10:00am service.
Lenten Invitation -- Offered Sunday evening at 5:00pm, Lenten Invitation is a unique service is designed to invite us into a renewed, deepened relationship with the season of Lent.  In addition to readings and prayers gathered from a variety of sources, the St. Paul's Choir will sing the Durufl√© Requiem, accompanied by organ and a wind and string chamber ensemble.  This service aims to provide an additional stepping stone into our Lenten journey, nourishing our hearts and minds with the questions and choices, the temptations and disciplines, the hope and love that are at the core of our Lenten pilgrimage.  A Lenten Invitation is a new offering for an ancient season.
Lenten House Church begins a week from Friday, February 27. Please watch your email bulletin for more information.
