Annual Retreat
Parishioners at Barbara Harris Retreat CenterSt. Paul's has had an annual retreat for many years.  Most have been held at the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center in Greenfield, NH.

Exploring our many selves with each other and with God

Every one of us is complex with many layers to our identity. St. Paul’s is also a multifaceted and diverse community.  What role do the many parts of our selves - as individuals and as a community - play in our journey with and towards God? How do we see the face of God in ourselves and each other?

This year’s All Parish Retreat will explore these questions in the context of fun, worship, rest and fellowship.

Dear Friends,

It’s Time!! We are planning our fall retreat at the Incarnation Center in Ivoryton, Connecticut (about 2 hours drive from Brookline). The theme of the retreat this year is Growing Deeper in Community. We are hoping that everyone in the parish (youngest to oldest) will participate. There will be outdoor and indoor recreation and community building intergenerational activities, as well as time for rest and worship.

Date: October 22nd – October 24th. The retreat begins after dinner on Friday 9/22 (Welcome and snacks starting at 7 pm) and continues through the middle of the day on Sunday. Most people arrive on Friday, but some join on Saturday. All are welcome for all or part of the time.

If you think you may be able to come, please fill out the attached form and return to the Parish Office (by hand, email or post) no later than September 30th.

As we get closer, our Retreat Planning Committee will be in touch with details about room assignments, carpool opportunities and tips for what to bring.

If you have immediate questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me directly.

Thanks,

Madeleine Taylor
