  • Acolytes   ( 0 Articles )
Acolytes serve as altar assistants to the presiding clergy during Sunday services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The rotation is generally one Sunday per month. The minimum age is 8.

  • Altar Guild   ( 0 Articles )
Members take turns setting up and clearing from the service they attend. Scheduling is flexible. New members usually work with an experienced member before working alone. Training and written instructions are also provided. Optional activities: caring for our linens, helping polish silver at Easter and Christmas, and assisting with the Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas displays.

  • Buildings and Grounds Committee   ( 13 Articles )

The Church was completed in 1851 and the Parish Hall was built in 1859.  The Rectory was constructed in 1886 and the rest of the Parish House in 1896.  We need to continually maintain the buildings and refocusing them to meet the needs of today.  The last couple of years have seen many improvements.

    • The masonry repair to restore the outside of the Church and Parish House to their original condition was completed in the last half of 2008.
    • We renovated our Parish House in 2009 to be more functional so that we better can serve all our ministries more effectively.
    • Also in 2009, our historic Rectory was renovated and brought up to code.

This past work and future building work is overseen by the Buildings and Grounds Committee that is responsible for the up-keep and general maintenance of all church buildings and grounds. Roles for committee volunteers range from space planning to architectural and construction advice to construction oversight to landscape planning, planting and weeding in the garden.

  • Christian Education   ( 5 Articles )

St. Paul's Church School Curriculum is designed for children of pre-school age through senior high. The curriculum is written and developed by our teachers and clergy in an effort to share an understanding and experience of Christian faith and tradition that connects with the life we live.

We warmly invite children to join our Church School at any point during the year. Classes begin at 9:00 am.  Classes will end in time for the 10 am Sunday service.

  • Columbarium   ( 1 Article )
St. Paul's seeks to minister to the spiritual needs of its members from baptism, through life, to death. Since urban churches are not able to build cemeteries today, St. Paul's new columbarium ministry now offers its beautiful and dignified columbarium located in the Chapel as an alternative to burial.

Funds to purchase these items are always welcome.

We also need volunteers for several jobs: to be on hand during open hours to help service clients; do occasional shopping when purchases are necessary; sort food after large food drives and putting on shelves.
