St. Paul's 2020: Preparing a Place for All:
We have entrusted David King and Mike Lindstrom from David L. King Architects Inc. to help us realize our hopes for the space. Back in September, we had an All Parish Meeting with their renderings for the building. This is not the final rendering, as there will be alterations made to the lower level and some of the changes depends up on how much money we end up raising. Click here to see the first draft! Stay tuned for updates.
Brief History of the Church:
The Church was completed in 1851 and the Parish Hall was built in 1859. The Rectory was constructed in 1886 and the rest of the Parish House in 1896. We need to continually maintain the buildings and refocusing them to meet the needs of today. The last couple of years have seen many improvements.
This past work and future building work is overseen by the Buildings and Grounds Committee that is responsible for the up-keep and general maintenance of all church buildings and grounds. Roles for committee volunteers range from space planning to architectural and construction advice to construction oversight to landscape planning, planting and weeding in the garden.
